SHS3-1 Completed! AND Release Date!

Yes, its finally completed and it'll be released within the week! :D

Edit: The official Release date is on Feb 28th. Keep a look out on Newgrounds.

Delays

Once again the release date for SHS3 will be pushed further again.
It won't be released within this month as mentioned before.
I'm pretty tied up with school work recently, so the time i can spent on animating is limited.
But what's left for SHS3-1 is not that much, so I'm very sure it'll be released on February.

Happy 2009 and SHS3 Updates

Yes, its 2009. Happy New Year to everyone!
And wonder where is SHS3?

The latest update for SHS3 is that it'll be release in 2 parts, rather than a whole chunk episode.
Due to the length and some technical problems, i decided to split it up to 2 parts.
The animation for the first part is completed, I'm just waiting for all the voices to come in and it'll be done. So if there aren't any unexpected delays, it'll be released within this month. ^^

The second part will then follow through, I'm still working on it, so it'll probably come a month after the first part.

The first part, which will be titled SHS 3-1, will include Scene 1, Scene 2 and Half of Scene 3. The second part, SHS3-2 will include the rest of Scene 3 and Scene 4.

SHS3 Poster and Updates!

Made a poster for SHS3 while slacking away from the project itself. Hope you guys like it!

As for Updates:

Scene 1: 90%
Well, basically what's really left is just the lip-sycing and some redos. Might take a week to finish up.

Scene 2: 70%
The main part is finished. I'm just waiting for the voices. And just a bit of editing here and there should finish up this scene easily.

Scene 3: 5%
I just started on scene 3. Lots of stuffs to work on. -_-

Scene 4: 70%
I've not touched it since a long time.
Its basically done, except lip-syncing. But I'm not entirely satisfied with it so i may still edit and work on it.

Overall: 60%
I'm generous enough to give a 60%, although i knew there are still quite alot to work on.
Hmm, originally the stated release date is on December, but i'm still like struggling with it now, so i guess this year end project may end up as my first movie in 2009. lol




And yes, the poster, 1 more new slayer this time!!! >>

Introduction to SHS3 Crew and Updates!

Yeah so from now on till completion I'll post some weekly updates for SHS3.
So far I'm 1 week behind schedule but things are progressing pretty well. I also managed to whipped out Scene 1 successfully. :D
SHS3 will be made up of 4 different scenes, each equally long, and i presume that the whole video will be around 8-10 minutes long. Yay long movie!

SHS3 Crew
Yeah, for such a big project, think i can handle it all by myself? Not quite, That's what friends are for!

Deven Mack (D-Mac): Voice Director. D-Mac handles all the Voice acting parts, which includes putting up an audition, searching for Voice actors, directing the voices in the scenes and he plays a couple of characters in the movie too! Amazing.

Stephen “Shard-Spider” Lynch: : Script. Shard is basically my adviser, he probably knows the story more than me!! Ha, he gave plenty of ideas to the story and he wrote the script for me. Phew, i just suck at writing scripts. Oh oh, and he voiced one of the character too!!! No spoilers though.

Xennethy: Director, Animator, music, and every other things else. Yeah, I'm in charge of everything else. From the plot of the story to the animations, sound effects, etc. Heh, Its pretty tiring and I'll probably get some help for my next project....

VAs: I'll leave the list of VAs to the next post... yeah no spoilers involving the characters that will appear....


So here's a simple update for the project:

Scene 1: 70%
I've managed to complete quite alot of it. I'll work on the rest once i receive the voices from D-Mac. Just a little bit more to completion, and that includes lip-syncing.
Oh and its looking good!

Scene 2: 50%
I'm currently working on the second scene. Scene 2 is pretty short, should be able to finish it within the week. :D

Scene 3: 0%
Not yet started. This is also the longest and the most intense scene.

Scene 4: 70%
Its basically done, other than lip-syncing. But I'm not entirely satisfied with it so i may still edit and work on it.

Oh and updates won't be completed without some screenies. lol

Updates and Redesign

Ohh, its 2 months since i last posted!! And yeah, its 2 months since i last updated my SHS3 .fla.
Its a crazy 2 months in school... lol
And finally its holiday for me!!!

So I'm back working on SHS3.
So far scene 4 is almost completed and scene 1 is being drawn out. But I'm not really satisfied with the character s' design so i redid the scene. The reason behind is that the original design i made was rather realistic looking and so different from the previous reel. So i decided to remake them and bring it closer to the feel of the previous reel.
Here's some new characters' design i made. Oh and i may still redo some parts of scene 4. It's still a long way to go for me. -_-

SHS3 Audition and New Poster!

Alrighty, this is not a post regarding any updates, but i just want to let everyone know that the audition for SHS3 is not yet over. So if you are interested in voicing any of the characters, please try for it.
Currently we are still looking for Lex Luthor, Cyclops, Hank Pym and Tony Stark voices.

The production of SHS3 is going pretty much slow now, but i still certainly hope to finish it by year end. Hopefully.

SHS3- Spoiler

Its been a month since my last update. So here's a first peek at the Flash movie itself!!
So far i've only managed to complete 1 scene. I'm currently tied down with school works, so i'm unable to progress further with SHS. I'll post more updates when i complete more of the animation.

Spoiler 1: Woohoo! Wolverine! Things not looking very well for Logan i guess.

First Peak: The Seven Slayers and SHS3!!!

This is a picture i drew that consist of the 7 main Slayers in this series. So far 4 of them have already appeared, the rest will appear soon. This is also the first time all the Slayers' faces is revealed. And yes, one of them is a lady! lol Some people may wonder who the 'Slayers' are, what are their names, their abilities, and why are they killing the Superheroes. I won't actually answer these questions here, they will be revealed in the subsequent episodes. But i will probably make a profile for each of them.



And yes, SHS 3 is in the making. Here's a piece of storyboard screenies i did earlier. So these may be some of the finalised characters that will be featured in this reel.
I'll post more screenies soon.

Review: Heroes appeared in SHS 2

SHS 2 compared to SHS 1 is a much better movie in terms of animation and story plots. The heroes that appeared are better designed and drawn too. Not like SHS 1, where all the heroes came together to fight 1 monster, SHS 2 splits the story into different parts, each on the hero against their enemy. So as a result there isn't as many heroes compared to the first movie.
Here are the few heroes that appeared in SHS 2.

Superman, DC
Superman, the hero of SHS 1 returned this time as he fought 1 on 1 with the Slayer leader.




Mr Fantastic, Marvel (New)
The head of Fantastic 4 debuts with his wife Sue Storm as they met one of the most powerful enemies they've ever encounter.



The Invisible Women, Marvel (New)
Sue Storm is hot.




Batman, DC
The Dark Knight is back! Not a very heroic scene for the Gotham hero though. lol




Storm, Marvel (New)
Not a very big part in the movie, but she looks hot too!




Wolverine, Marvel
Yes, Logan will play a big part in this series. I promised. :D




There isn't so many heroes in this reel, but each of them will have a significant part to play in the story.

Review: Heroes appeared in SHS 1

Alright, now that you all know that SHS is all about heroes, you will naturally expects tonnes of heroes to appear in this movie. Most of the Superheroes that will be featured in SHS belongs to both Marvel and DC comics. Now we will look back at the heroes that appeared in the first reel!

Captain America, Marvel

Alright, our tiny little Steve Rogers will not appear in any future installations of SHS anymore. He's supposedly dead after the Marvel's Civil War.



Wolverine, Marvel
Although you can only see he's back before he's fried in SHS 1, he will be playing a huge part in SHS 3.



Batman, DC
He appeared in both SHS 1 and 2, but i have no plans for him to appear in future reels yet. I like the Dark Knight Movie though, so perhaps i may keep him for something important.



Spiderman, Marvel
Alright I'll just say i haven't thought of anything for our famous web-slinger yet. But he'll sure plays a big part in the future reels.



IronMan, Marvel
Oh yeah Tony Stark, Important character in the Marvel world, and definitely important in the SHS plot.



Hulk, Marvel
I enjoyed the Hulk movie very much, so that gave me ideas...




Superman, DC
The Man of Steel have already appeared in SHS 2, so from what we know, he's one of the main superhero in this series (Yea, if not why would the leader of the Slayers go after him?).



SHS 1 was made without any plots of stories in my head, and the heroes came out to be alittle crappy(in terms of design and every other thing else), but hey SHS 2 is much of a improvement. So hope you can continue to support this series.

SHS- Entre Files Chapter 1

The SHS series will be expanded into comics, known as the Entre files, which also means, the "in between" files. The plot of the comic will tell us what actually happens off screen from the Animated series itself. So what you can expect to see from the Entre files will be events happening in between Episodes of the Animated movie. This will give me a chance to explain more details and plots, fill up some missing plots, and to expand the whole SHS universe.

The spotlight will be on the Slayers and it will expand the storyline from the views of them. As of copyrights issue the comics will not really involve any of the existing Superheroes.

Chapter 1 happens directly after the events of SHS reel 1.
